Rainbow appears at the Closing Liturgy of the 50th Assumption Pilgrimage
+++++THERE IS NO COINCIDENCE WITH GOD+++++
A great event occurred this year on the feast of Our Lady’s Assumption which many of you witnessed.
Fifty years ago on the Feast of the Assumption as the statue of Our Lady of Lebanon was being blessed, a magnificent rainbow appeared over the statue. It was witnessed by many and seen as a sign from God that He was pleased with the new Shrine dedicated to His Mother.
This year during the celebration of the Divine Liturgy, exactly fifty years to the day, another rainbow appeared over the statue of Our Lady as thousands were gathered in prayer. As the offering of bread and wine was being taken in procession to the altar, everyone looked up and witnessed this magnificent event.
What an incredible blessing we have received! What a tremendous affirmation for so many present; God continues to bless this humble Shrine after fifty years. This is truly a sign from God that our beloved Shrine will be here for many years to come.
Miracles come to us in many ways and they can be something as simple as a rainbow. We recall that Noah witnessed a rainbow after the deluge as a promise from God that He was still with them and they were rescued from destruction. The simple rainbow over Our Lady of Lebanon is also a promise that Our Lord is always with us, we are not without hope, and we are not without His grace and assistance. He is with us until the end of the ages.
Praise be to God!
